Q:- What is the possible cause of too mush restraint of the parent material during welding :

(a) Restraint is always desirable.

(b) It may lead to cracking, especially with small welds between large components.

(c) It will cause too much distortion.

(d) It will cause lamellar tearing if it is present on a corner joint.
